The University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS), Suhar, Oman, is hosting the second international conference on Environmental Science and Engineering for Sustainable Development (ESESD 2024), continuing the event’s successful first iteration, which was held in March 2022 with 130 attendees from 13 countries. This conference will provide an excellent forum for exchanging knowledge and findings in the theory, methodology, and applications. The conference aims to provide a venue for academics, industry professionals, researchers, and students to present their most recent work and forge relationships with their peers.

The purpose of this conference is to bring together academic and industrial researchers and practitioners to discuss how to use scientific ideas and cutting-edge technology to find novel, sustainable solutions to pressing environmental problems and to foster new partnerships in these fields. Authors are solicited to contribute to the conference by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, surveying works, and industrial experiences within the scope of the conference for both Oral and Poster presentations. Special sessions dedicated to posters will be organized during the conference. In addition, the conference offers a space for companies and/or institutions to present their innovations and research results. The conference will award prizes to the best papers and posters.
